Reviews of the books I read during spring and summer. (Spoiler: I’ve finished reading all the Discworld novels!)

Whenever I needed to share a long link, I used to rely on public URL shorteners. But at some point I started wondering - why, if I already own hleb.dev domain? It’s short enough, and I could always self-host an open-source URL shortener (or even write my own). As it turned out, I didn’t need a separate service at all.

I’ve been using Miniflux as my RSS reader for quite some time. It’s a simple and fast open-source feed reader convenient for self-hosting with a focus on keyboard-driven navigation. Few days ago new version was released with my small UI fix for Block Rules.

X-Clacks-Overhead

I am a big fan of Sir Terry Pratchett. His books influenced my sense of humor and the way I look at things, far beyond just fantasy literature. Some time ago, I added a small but meaningful detail to this blog - the X-Clacks-Overhead HTTP header.
